Some fruit juices can even contain more carbs, fructose and concentrated sugar than the soda beverages and can cause your blood sugar to shoot quickly. Fried foods can taste good and is a weakness of many if not all. This craving has to go if you have diabetes. Fried food is deep fried in vegetable oils and they absorb a lot of oil rich in carbs some of which even being coated in bread and pumping that calories number up. Another food to avoid are the potatoes especially when they are deep fried. Potatoes alone can contain high amount of carbs and to deep fry them is just asking for trouble. Starches are low quality carbs and can act much like sugar once digested. Starch foods include white rice, bread and flour. These types of food are harmful for your diabetic care plan. Replace these starches with more organic foods like barley, wild rice, oatmeal, whole grains and high fiber cereals. These organic foods will have a low effect on blood sugar because they break down carbs slowly.

Fat Filled Meat

Fatty meat pieces are like pieces of high cholesterol. Avoid fatty meats because they contain high amount of saturated fat. Saturated fat can cause inflammation in the body of the consumer resulting in high cholesterol levels. A solution to this problem is to consume skinless turkey or chicken and choose lean proteins and beef.

Flavored coffee has more cons than pros. Flavored coffee contain high amount of carbs which can shoot your blood sugar to extended decree. Flavored coffee can be said to be a liquid dessert and is processed by our digestive system the same way as solid dessert.
